It converts text to speech (very natural, too - the AT&T Michael Natural voice). I then make an mp3 and listen on my player during the day. There's nothing like reading the Word, but this helps when you're on the run! I find relevance even in the OT. For istance, Jeremiah 1:5 tells me all I need to know about when life begins.
